Finding Joy in the Garden Today

Finding Joy in the Garden Today

There is something undeniably magical about stepping outside right now. Lately, my daily garden walk has become my absolute favorite part of the day. It is a quiet moment to just wander through the beds and see exactly what nature has been up to overnight. It feels like every single day brings a brand new surprise.

The garden is absolutely bursting with life, transforming the yard into our very own thriving retreat. Here is a little peek at what is currently taking over:

  • Squash at Full Tilt: The squash plants are at full production right now. Their massive leaves are sprawling everywhere, and the daily harvest is keeping me delightfully busy in the kitchen.
  • Peek-a-boo Pumpkins: It is always a thrill, but the very first pumpkins are just starting to show! Spotting those little orbs hidden under the leafy canopy is so exciting and gives just a tiny hint of the autumn days ahead.
  • Tiny Baby Tomatoes: Tiny, perfect baby tomatoes are finally making their appearance on the vines. I am checking them daily, eagerly waiting for that first vibrant pop of color.

It is incredibly rewarding to watch everything grow and change so quickly. Whether I am brainstorming how to use the squash in our next family dinner or just enjoying the fresh air, these daily garden visits are bringing so much joy to Martha's Cozy Casa lately.
